Decarbonization and the Built Environment with speaker Hailey Mick

This month’s chapter program will give us the opportunity to learn about the efforts of decarbonization.
In October, ASHRAE, with support of AIA, BOMA, IFMA, and APPA held the first Decarbonization Conference for the Built Environment in Washington, D.C. to encourage an information and idea exchange key stakeholders in our industry. Our chapter meeting this month will be a debrief by Hailey Mick who is currently volunteering with the ASHRAE Taskforce for Building Decarbonization and attended the conference. Hailey will highlight key takeaways from several sessions and share learnings that are specific to the city of Chattanooga.
Hailey is the Engineering Business Development Manager for Uponor. She has a bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and almost 2 decades of experience in commercial construction. She is our local membership promotion chair and volunteers with several technical committees for ASHRAE. She is also involved with ASHE, ASPE and Uponor Sustainability Core team.
