ASHRAE- Wed Oct 2 on Heat Tracing [RSVP]

This month’s ASHRAE chapter program will give us the opportunity to learn more about heat trace systems from Blake Young of Applied Thermal System. Applied Thermal Systems is a rep firm serving commercial and industrial heating markets. They represent Chromalox who has been providing commercial and industrial heating solutions since 1917.

Mr. Young has held various roles within the company including inside and outside sales and application support. He is currently the rep principal responsible for application engineering and sales in Tennessee, Northern Alabama and Southern Kentucky.

Mr. Young will be giving an overview of the types of heat trace commonly used, how they are made and how they work. He will also cover the design considerations of a heat trace system, applications in the commercial market and the codes/regulations that apply.

Professional Development Certificates (1 hour) will be provided at the Lunch meeting.
